Conversion

A Conversion is any of numerous methods which ultimately result in one player sharing their Win Condition with another player who did not previously share it. There are many forms of conversion, which is a traditionally unpopular mechanic for several reasons.

Once a player has been converted, it is considered extremely poor form to continue playing to the previous win condition.

Types of Conversion

-Involuntary Conversion - In this type, the target's win condition is erased, and replaced by the new one.

-Voluntary Conversion - As involuntary conversion, but the target may choose not to accept the new win condition.

-Dual Conversion - In this type of conversion, the target merely adds the win condition in question to their current win conditions, and may choose to pursue either.

-Unknown Conversion - In this type of conversion, the target is not informed of their new win condition.

-Networked Conversion - In this type of conversion, the target is informed of the identity of their converter, or someone in their new win condition.
