Alive

Being 'alive' in a Phalla means that you have not been successfully targeted by the vote, a vig or the mafia. Neutrals usually must stay alive the entire game to win. A village-aligned player or a member of the mafia can usually still win if they are dead as long as their win condition is met by the end of the game.

There have been games where death does not necessarily mean you are no longer able to play, such as the Timeline Phalla. These games are few and far between, so death more or less ensures you're done playing.
